Cinderella

Kim Whittia came to perform the story of Cinderella at Bradford School on Monday morning.

We were very surprised and excited when Kim told us that everyone in the school would have a part in the play.

Children from Room Five and Six danced at the ball.

Until the clock struck twelve!

Prince Charming searched for the beautiful girl who owned the slipper.

Why does my heart beat?

The heart pumps blood around your body, from your head down to your toes.

Your heart is about the size of your fist and is made of muscle.

Your heart is tucked under lungs. Your lungs give your heart a cuddle.

Touch your neck under your chin. Can you feel the blood flowing through an artery to your brain?

Otago Nuggets Visit Bradford Miniball Players

Last week we had a visit from Brent Charleton and Lamar Gayle from the Otago Nuggets. They worked with our enthusiastic miniball players. The children practised many of the skills related to miniball including dribbling, passing, catching, and shooting techniques.

The miniball players would like to thank Mrs Pask for organising the Otago Nugget players to come and visit Bradford School. We hope they can come back again next term. It was really cool learning how to hold the ball correctly to shoot hoops .
