Our inquiry to find out how our lunch box is destroying our planet
So far we have found out if each class in our school threw out the same amount of rubbish each day that we are at the moment, that would be a whole lot of rubbish. Take a look at the photo of the rubbish we collected from one classroom after one day!
We would like to know:
How much rubbish do you think would you throw away each day ?
Do you think rubbish would destroy our planet ?
If everyone started to recycle would you ?

Wow, R6 you are 'way cool' - I love your podcast - it is so special to hear us live on the net!!! Ms D-R.
Hey, these are great questions. In response to the last one, I think if more people started recycling then other people would catch on. It would become embarrassing not to recycle. A bit like it is now embarrassing to smoke because people know how bad it is for you.
Do you think that one day it will be embarrasing to drive a big car that has high emissions? Do you think people with big cars will get that 'look' that people get if they litter??
Just a thought .....
Another thought ..... I have a big car .....yikes!
Wow what a good blog it gives you a lot of information about recycling. We learnt a lot from that blog.
